About
Built for operators whose systems don't agree.
Restaurant OS is a consulting practice focused on operations and financial controls for independent restaurants. The work is structured, evidence-backed, and scoped to what your restaurant actually needs.
What this is — and what it isn't.
Restaurant OS is not a bookkeeping service, a software product, or a management company. It's a consulting practice that audits the systems you already pay for — POS, accounting, purchasing, payroll — and delivers a record of what changed, what it produced, and how it was verified.
The first promise is not AI management or guaranteed savings. It is: we identify where the restaurant's systems disagree, document the evidence, correct approved causes, and leave controls that show whether the problem stays fixed.
The diagnosis is the free part. Any consultant can produce a list of problems. What almost none can produce is the second half: what was changed in the live account, the figure that change produced, and how it was verified. That is what gets paid for, and it is why the delivery record matters more than the scorecard.
How we work.
Who we work with.
Restaurant OS works with independent restaurant owners and small multi-location groups in the United States. The initial client profile is one to three locations with a real owner-led need across POS, accounting, payroll, purchasing, cost, or operations. Engagements are most effective when the owner or a senior operator is involved and has access to the relevant systems and records.
Good fit
- Independent restaurants with one to three locations
- Operators who use a POS, accounting software, and some combination of third-party platforms
- Owners who know something is off but can't pinpoint it — or who know exactly what's wrong but can't get it to stay fixed
- Restaurants preparing for a transition, review, or ownership change
Not a fit
- Large chains or franchise groups with dedicated internal finance teams
- Restaurants looking for a bookkeeper, accountant, or payroll processor
- Operators who aren't ready to provide access to their systems and records
